Tucked away on North Limestone, Favor opens with local fare

Favor is a new food spot on North Limestone, tucked behind Arcadium.

Wyatt Sarbacker, who has collaborated in many food ventures (The Village Idiot, Marksbury Farm, and Gents Original) is preparing to open a concept of his own.

With Favor, Sarbacker plans to use products from his partners and farmers thoughtfully. “We’re here to accommodate the farmers and producers, they are the ones doing the real work.

Ingredients are sourced locally from local farmers, the farmers’ market and CSA pickups. The menu changes weekly, depending on what’s in-season. Expect to see rotating baked empanadas, burgers with classic fixings, and unique twists on seasonal vegetables.

Other menu items include fry bread, stoofvlees, and ricotta fritters. Along with dinner, Favor offers Sunday brunch with a weekly changing menu featuring crispy potatoes, eggs benny, and a fried egg hash.

Hidden behind Arcadium, Favor fills the need for a food spot near that end of North Limestone. With restrictions on in-person dining, there is emphasis on carry out for now, but outdoor patio seating is available, along with the option to reserve a spot inside in advance.

Favor is located at 574 N. Limestone.
